The editors of Straitjackets magazine are pleased to announce that two of our authors have recently been published and their work is now available.  Please help support our writers.

First, we have Kurt Kamm who describes his book Code Blood.
CODE BLOOD takes you into the connected lives of a fire paramedic, a Chinese stem-cell research student at UCLA and an obsessed killer who stalks her. Much of the story takes place on the UCLA campus and brings together my experience with the LA County Fire Department and my 25-year association with the UCLA Cancer Center. Some world-class scientists, a few Goth followers, and a lot of firefighters helped me craft this novel.

The book is available in paperback on Amazon, and in all e-book formats: Kindle, Nook, iPad, Apple and Google.

Jason McCall told us:
I am writing to let you know that Silver, my first collection of poetry, will be published by Main Street Rag. "Prism," "To Fade," and the title poem "Silver" were published in the Winter 2008-2009 issue of the magazine and are featured in the collection. The collection may ordered here:

And Jason concluded with the following thank you:
Thank you for supporting my work. I know that this accomplishment would not have been possible without the support of magazines and journals like yours.

That’s why we’re here. Congratulations to Kurt and Jason.
